An Annual Meeting of Shareholders Focused on Growth and Pride

Transcontinental’s annual meeting of shareholders was held on Wednesday, February 20 at the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel in Montreal. Close to 400 people attended the event, which was focused on Transcontinental’s growth, but which also marked the transfer of the duties of president and chief executive officer from Luc Desjardins to François Olivier.

When Mr. Desjardins finished his final speech to the assembly, every one rose and gave him a standing ovation. Rémi Marcoux thanked Mr. Desjardins for everything he had achieved in his eight years with the company and restated his confidence in Transcontinental’s future under the leadership of François Olivier.
